The Anointed Engineers of PENSA UMaT staged a remarkable comeback in Contest Twelve of the NBQ2026 One-Eighth Stage, overturning an early deficit to defeat GHAMSU UHAS and GNAAS UDS-NYC and book their place in the quarter-finals.

Contest Twelve of the NBQ2026 1/8th Stage delivered a contest of changing fortunes, mathematical drama and a memorable recovery. GHAMSU UHAS began strongly, PENSA UMaT fought their way back into contention, and GNAAS UDS-NYC finally escaped the negative zone. But when the dust settled, PENSA UMaT had secured the victory.

Yes, That was the Score!

GHAMSU UHAS opened the contest with 7 points, narrowly ahead of PENSA UMaT, who recorded 6 points.

GNAAS UDS-NYC, however, endured a difficult first round, finishing on -3 points.

The scoreboard was already raising eyebrows!

Yes, that was the score.

GHAMSU UHAS Stretch Their Lead

GHAMSU UHAS strengthened their position in Round 2, adding eight points to move to 15 points.

PENSA UMaT managed three points to reach 9, while GNAAS UDS-NYC remained on -3.

GHAMSU UHAS were beginning to create some distance between themselves and their closest challengers.

GHAMSU UHAS were stretching their lead!

PENSA UMaT Draw Level

PENSA UMaT responded in Round 3, adding seven points to reach 16 points and draw level with GHAMSU UHAS, who added just one point to reach the same total.

The contest was now a two-way battle at the top, with both teams tied on 16 points.

GNAAS UDS-NYC remained on -3, still searching for a breakthrough.

GHAMSU and PENSA were fiercely going for it!

And as the tension mounted, the running joke about GNAAS owing the consultants continued.

Round 4 completely changed the contest.

PENSA UMaT produced a massive scoring run, jumping from 16 to 29 points and taking a commanding lead.

GHAMSU UHAS also made progress, moving to 21 points, but the gap had widened to eight points.

GNAAS UDS-NYC finally escaped negative territory, climbing from -3 to 3 points.

After spending the earlier rounds in the red, they were finally back in positive figures!

The final round brought no further changes to the scores.

PENSA UMaT held firm on 29 points, GHAMSU UHAS finished on 21, and GNAAS UDS-NYC ended on 3 points.

After trailing GHAMSU UHAS at the end of the opening round and drawing level in Round 3, PENSA UMaT delivered the decisive performance in Round 4 to take control and secure the win.

The Anointed Engineers had done it! PENSA UMaT sealed the comeback and progress to the NBQ2026 Quarter-Finals.
