In the General Questions round, AGCM LEGON started sharply. They built an early lead with 13 points. Meanwhile, NUPS-G LEGON followed with 7 points, and NUBS STU opened on 1 point. Early accuracy and bonus conversions gave AGCM the edge.
That early advantage was strengthened in the Speed Race, where AGCM LEGON thrived under the pressure of rapid-fire questions. Their ability to secure first-bell responses and avoid costly deductions pushed them to 23 points, while NUPS-G LEGON advanced to 13 points. NUBS STU, despite their efforts, slipped to 0 points, feeling the effects of the high-risk, high-reward nature of the round.
Steady Control Maintained
The Test of the Day brought a more measured phase of the contest, but AGCM LEGON remained steady and composed, extending their total to 26 points. NUPS-G LEGON also made gains to reach 16 points, while NUBS STU moved to 1 point, continuing their fight to stay in contention.
Then came the True or False round. AGCM LEGON stayed consistent and grew their total from 26 to 30 points. Likewise, NUPS-G LEGON progressed to 20 points. NUBS STU also moved up to 2 points as they sought to recover ground. At this stage, AGCM still held firm control of the contest.
Then, heading into the final Riddle round, the lead was firmly in AGCM LEGON’s hands — and they showed composure to close out the contest strongly. They added the final points needed to secure victory, finishing on 33 points. NUPS-G LEGON wrapped up their effort on 26 points, while NUBS STU ended on 2 points.
