With 8 remarkable teams preparing to go head-to-head, it’s anyone’s game as they vie for spots in the National Championship and the prestigious title of Institutional Champion.
New Teams, High Stakes
These teams step into the UPSA Championship as first-time contenders in this season’s Inter-Church Bible Quiz. With no qualifiers behind them, this is their grand introduction—and their opportunity to make a bold statement. Each team represents a unique denomination and brings its own style, spirit, and strength to the table.
What’s at stake? A prestigious spot at the National Championship and the glory of being crowned the Institutional Champion. From lightning-fast speed rounds to mind-bending riddles, every point matters. With the Word of God at the center, it’s anyone’s game—and everything to play for.
Participating Churches
The NBQ2025 UPSA Championship will feature teams from the following denominations:
- PENSA (Pentecost Students and Associates)
- GESAM (Global Evangelical Students and Associates Ministry)
- CASA (Christ Apostolic Students & Associates)
- APOSA (Apostolic Students and Associates)
- NUAS (National Union of Anglican Students)
- GHAMSU (Ghana Methodist Students Union)
- NUPS-G (National Union of Presbyterian Students – Ghana)
- ROSA (Royalhouse Students and Associates)
These teams, representing diverse denominations, have worked tirelessly to reach this stage. Whether it’s through the meticulous preparation for each round or the dedication to understanding the Bible in depth, they are ready to give it their all. The fierce competition will not only be a test of knowledge but also of composure, as each team faces the pressure of the challenge and the excitement of the crowd.
The Contests
The stage is set for two thrilling contests at the NBQ2025 UPSA Championship. With eight vibrant Christian fellowships participating, each team is eager to demonstrate their depth of Scripture knowledge, teamwork, and spiritual insight.
Contest 1 will feature:
- National Union of Anglican Students (NUAS)
- Apostolic Students and Associates (APOSA)
- Christ Apostolic Students & Associates (CASA)
- Royalhouse Students and Associates (ROSA)
Contest 2 will bring together:
- National Union of Presbyterian Students – Ghana (NUPS-G)
- Ghana Methodist Students Union (GHAMSU)
- Global Evangelical Students and Associates Ministry (GESAM)
- Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA)
From each contest, only the winner will automatically qualify for the Grand Finale. They will be joined by the highest-scoring losing team across both contests—bringing the total finalists to three. These final teams will then battle it out for the UPSA Institutional Champion title.
The pressure is on. The prize is great. The Word will be tested.
While the outcome is uncertain, one thing is for sure: this will be a championship for the history books. The energy, the excitement, and the wisdom on display will make this an unforgettable event.
