The second contest of the NBQ2025 UCC Championship brought everything fans could hope for—drama, energy, surprises, and a gripping finish. With three determined teams battling for a coveted spot at the Nationals, the stakes couldn’t have been higher.

PENSA Sets the Pace
Right from the start, PENSA set the tone. They came in hot, confidently filling in the dashes and answering with speed and precision. Their early dominance earned them 11 points, giving them a strong lead. GHAMSU followed with 5 points, trying to keep pace, while GESAM struggled to find their rhythm, ending the round without a point. Clearly, PENSA had arrived with intent.
Momentum Shifts
However, things started to tighten in Round 2. PENSA saw a dip in momentum, losing points and finishing the round with only 7 points. Meanwhile, GHAMSU kept chipping away, finishing with 4 points. GESAM finally got on the board with 2 points, gaining some traction. Although PENSA still led overall, the round reminded everyone that no lead is truly safe in a contest this competitive.
Deadlock at the Top
Then came the True or False round—and it delivered fireworks. Both PENSA and GHAMSU showed incredible composure, each adding just enough to end the round tied at 17 points. GESAM also had a stronger showing, reaching a respectable 10. The atmosphere was electric. With the scores even, the stage was perfectly set for a dramatic finish in the final round.
The Riddle Showdown
Everything came down to the riddles. Pressure mounted, and the room held its breath. PENSA rose to the moment, solving two riddles and adding a crucial 6 points to their tally. GHAMSU and GESAM, unfortunately, couldn’t find the answers they needed. As the final buzzer sounded, it was clear—PENSA had done it again..

This win wasn’t just another victory; it was a statement of consistency, excellence, and heart. With this result, PENSA earns a historic third consecutive appearance at the NBQ National Championship. Their performance proved why they remain one of the most formidable teams in the competition.
