Campus Christian Family (CCF Legon) has won the second Semi Final Contest in the 2023 edition of the Inter-Church Bible Quiz, University of Ghana, Legon. The win makes them the second team to qualify for the Grand Finale.

They battled it out with Assemblies of God Campus Ministry (AGCM) and LifeCity UG-Legon.

CCF was represented by David Afotey and Paa Kobina Nyameye Oppon. The AGCM team was Edith Opoku Acheampong and Precious Krah and the LifeCity team was Zipporah Avinu and Adonis Senanu. It was a very exciting contest.

The CCF team quicly took the lead in the first round accumulating 9 points over AGCM and LifeCity who scored 5 and 7 respectively.

The speed race was rather unlucky for AGCM as they lost 3 points as the other teams took turns to answer the questions. At the end of the round, LifeCity earned 2 more points to move to 9 points as CCF took an 8-point lead.

Round 3 was the test of the day. The test required the teams to state the names of the tribes who were given various desciptions in Deuteronomy 33.
After 4 minutes of presenting their answers in this round, AGCM and LifeCity both scored 1 point and CCF scored 2. This brought the tallies to 3, 10 and 19 respectively.

The teams couldn’t pull much in the fourth round, True or False. AGCM unfortunately took a downward spiral as they ended the round with (-2) points. LifeCity earned only 1 more point to get a total of 11 as CCf maintained the lead at 23 points.

The riddles proved difficult for all teams as none could answer correctly.
With this, CCF won the contest after accumulating a total of 23 points.

CCF joined Deeper Life in the Grand Finale after beating LifeCity and AGCM.
It was a win well-deserved after an exciting contest.
